Account data: Email address, name (when you subscribe to a paid plan).

Usage data: Search queries, API request counts, IP addresses, timestamps.

Payment data: Processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Data

We use collected data to: (a) provide and improve the search service; (b) monitor usage and enforce rate limits; (c) send service-related communications; (d) generate anonymous usage analytics.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with: (a) Paddle — for payment processing; (b) Infrastructure providers — for service hosting; (c) Law enforcement — when legally required.

4. Data Retention

Search query logs are retained for 90 days. Account data is retained while your subscription is active and for 30 days after cancellation. Usage analytics are retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access your data; (b) request data deletion; (c) export your data; (d) opt out of non-essential data collection. Contact support@searchx.dev to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
